More Than 6 Great Hours At Six Flags!

Hola!  For summer vacation my family didn't travel as most families often do.  For our summer vacation my parents took my family to Six Flags Over Georgia!  If you've been to Six Flags you probably understand my excitement, but if you haven't you probably do not know how I feel.  But first we had to wait two weeks.  But it was so much fun, it was worth it!  I'll never forget going!  It still amazes me that we went.  Let me explain: we talked about going for over a month!  I was beginning to think we wouldn't go, I'm embarrassed to say.  But one day my dad said, 'Your mom and I have been talking, and we've decided; next Sunday if the weather's nice, we're going to go to Six Flags!'.  Boy were we excited!  But the next Sunday it was rainy.  Everyone was disappointed.  But the next Sunday it was sunny and warm.  We were going to go to Six Flags!  So on our way home from Sunday Mass, we went to Six Flags!  My heart was pounding as we drove into the entrance.  As we piled out of the car, I started jumping up and down with Donna and Amy (Amelia).  We kept thanking our dad and screaming.  Finally, finally, finally we went through the gate!!  The first things we did were a) get a map b) scream c) decide that my dad, B-man, Donna, Amy and I would go on the Georgia Cyclone!  It was my first roller coaster EVER.  Period.  While we were slowly going "click, clack, click, clack," up the big, steep, slow hill, my heart was thudding like crazy.  Will I like it or not? I thought nervously, squeezing B-mans hand, in the front row.  Will I get sick? If I do I can't get off!  But as we zoomed down the hill, all my nervousness went Whoosh! right out of me in a big AAAAAUUUGGHH! (a scream if you couldn't figure it out.)  It.  Was.  Epic, exciting, and (kind of) tense!  But all in all, it was super-fun!!  By the end of the day, I had only gone on roller coasters, except for three.  I'll list the three non-roller coasters:                    1. merry go round                                                                                                               2. a raft                                                                                                                                 3. Gotham City Crime Wave (REALLY fun!)                                                                    ALL the rest of the rides I went on were roller coasters.  By the end of the day I had three favorite rides.  I'll list them for you (#1 and #2 are roller coasters;#3 is not a roller coaster.):
  1. The Ninja
  2. Dare Devil Dive (Goes up 90 degrees, than when you go down, it actually caves in!! My mom said it looked like a bobby pin.)
  3. Gotham City Crime Wave (Its like a giant swing, but it swings you 'round and 'round.  That and the Ninja are the only ones I went on twice.) Also my dad got Amelia, Donna, the Tormentor, Baby and I cotton candy twice!  (Once before me and Amelia went on the Crime Wave, and right before we left.)  And that is my experience at Six Flags.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    -Krystal ;-)

The kid's program

Last Sunday my family, except for Rose, the B man,and my grandmother,(our grandma lives in our basement) came back from a trip to south Texas to visit our friends. The reason why the B man and Rose didn't want to go is that Rose has a job at auto parts group, and the B man also has a job at the Y.M.C.A..One of my favorite things we did, (which was quite a lot!) was the kid's program. We had a lot of fun at that place. The first day a nun came and we were divided into two teams-the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Hearts (I was on that team) and The Winners. You can tell how humble the second team was.The first thing the two teams did was a whole bunch of relay races, hoping on one foot, running, skipping, running back words, we twirled around, and I forget the rest. Second, we played charades that was really fun. Third we played musicale chairs. Guess who won that game? I did!
The second day a sister came and read us a story .It was very interesting .Next a brother came and taught us two games. The first game was like rock, paper, scissors only you use your whole body, and instead of rock, paper, scissors it's bear, hunter, ninja. Hunter beats bear, ninja beats hunter, and bear beats ninja. Then we drew pictures and then the brother tought us another game, I didn't really like that game. You had to walk around the room saying "I'm an egg, I'm an egg," then you had to find a person that's an egg and play rock, paper, scissors with him/her and who ever wins gets to be a chicken and has to go around saying "I'm a chicken, I'm a chicken," and then you have to find a chicken and play rock, paper, scissors and who ever won that would have to be a dinosaur and say "I'm a dinosaur, I'm a dinosaur," and then you have to find another dinosaur and play rock, paper, scissors and if you won that round you're one of the winners and if you lose you're an egg again. Next a sister came and taught us how to make crosses out of palm tree branches, and last but not least, we played dead fish, and that was my adventure at the kid's program.

An 'Epic' Movie!

While we were visiting some friends in Texas, we went to see Epic.  I will NOT spoil ANY parts of it.  I am not a spoiler.  My grandpa was.  But I'm not.  All I'll say is... it was awesome!!!  My compliments to the director!  You should totally go see it!  As I said we went with some friends.  It was fun!  Me and one of our friends shared a Diet Coke.  She can't have real Coke 'cause of an allergy. It was worth spending your money for.  It was totally EPIC!

Once upon a time in Sweet Valley...

I will tell you about my favorite book series.   It's 'Sweet Valley Twins'! The author is Francine Pascal.  She's a talented writer!!   Anyway, it's about two twins who  are as different as night and day.  They're names are Elizabeth and Jessica.  Elizabeth is four minutes older, but a lot more serious than Jessica, who likes to talk about clothes and parties.  Jessica's best friend is Elizabeth, and Elizabeth's best friend is Jessica.  Elizabeth's other best friend is Amy Sutton.  Jessica's is Lila Fowler.  Jessica is a member of the Unicorn club, a group of the most popular and pretty girls in school.  Elizabeth thinks they're snobs, but Jessica loves them.  Elizabeth likes books and the Sweet Valley Sixers- the school newspaper.  Even though Jessica is in a fix almost EVERY book, she's still my favorite character.  Go, Francine!!

5K training

Hiya!
This is my second post, so I'll try to make it worth reading. :-) I'll get right to the point. I'm training for the 5K, and so is Amelia! Donna didn't want to. Training is tiring, but every time I get tired I think about how great it would be to cross the finish line first. Even though most of you already know what the 5K is, I'll tell you anyway for those who don't know. The 5K is a 3-mile race that raises money for  police departments, fire departments, etc. It's a good cause so please consider joining. :-D
